Five sites in the Conghua district were added to Guangzhou's first group of research learning education bases or camps for primary and middle schools, according to a recent release from Guangzhou's education bureau.

The sites are the Guangzhou Floral Research Center, the Wheatland Ecological Resort, the Liuxi River National Forest Park, the Luodong Craftsman Town and the Southern Medicine Town. These bases provide learning and education in such fields as science, technology and industry for national defense, nature and ecology, knowledge about the country, and labor education.
