Lychees donated to Conghua's frontline medical workers
On June 21, just-in-season lychees were delivered to frontline medical workers in Conghua district as a token of appreciation for their hard work in fighting COVID-19.
Since the recurrence of the coronavirus in South China's Guangdong province, Conghua district is going all-out in the prevention and control of the virus.
The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Conghua have shouldered the major work of nucleic acid testing and vaccinations, which have helped ensure zero infections in the district.
As a token of their appreciation, Conghua district government organized the lychee delivery to medical workers at the two hospitals. A total of 2,400 packages of premium fresh lychees were presented to them.
