The 2021 10th Guangzhou International Foods Exhibition kicked off on Dec 9 at the China Import and Export Fair exhibition halls. Ten enterprises from Conghua district of Guangzhou joined the exhibition.

Entering its 10th year, the Guangzhou International Foods Exhibition has become a major industry fair in South China. This year, the fair attracted over 1,000 enterprises.

Exhibitors reach multiple cooperation agreements

The 10 enterprises exhibited premium foods with local characteristics, including green vegetables, dried fruit, fruit wine, egg products, spices, oatmeal and honey.
The Conghua exhibitors applauded the fair as a good opportunity to promote their premium products and expand their market both domestically and internationally.

Conghua's green food enjoyed by foreign guests

"Conghua's food is green, healthy and very good," said a foreign guest from the Consulate of Panama in Guangzhou after tasting the vegetables from Guangzhou Huarui Green Source Technology Ltd, one of the 10 enterprises.

Huarui Green Source Plant Factory introduced its shallow hydroponic greenhouse technology, which can achieve continuous production of crops via high-precision environmental control in facilities.

Presently, the factory mostly grows baby spinach, arugula and Glehnia littoralis to supply Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao.

Conghua is home to 16 "vegetable basket" production bases for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with 34 branded agricultural products at the provincial level, some of which are included on the national list of famous, special and excellent new agricultural products, including lychees, lychee honey and rose citrus.
