Conghua conducts emergency drill of epidemic control and prevention stress test
On Aug 8, Conghua district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, conducted an emergency drill for its epidemic control and prevention stress testing. A total of 260,838 nucleic acid test samples were collected with zero positive cases confirmed.
The drill was used to reinforce normalized epidemic control and prevention work, improve the response capacity of public emergency services, and to effectively safeguard people's lives and health.
Conghua district took immediate action after receiving instructions from above. Drills were conducted on epidemiological investigation, transportation and isolation, nucleic acid screening, the screening of key personnel and medical security in controlled areas. The drills were carried out in good order and achieved their anticipated results.
The district will continue to prioritize epidemic control and prevention, firmly solidifying the health barrier to block imported cases and stop the spread of local rebound cases.
