Conghua district of Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, is welcoming the harvest season of olecranon peaches in July. 

At Sancun village of Lyutian town, the olecranon peach base is full of ripe peaches that are ready to hit the market.  

Chen Zhifeng, a contractor at a 3,000-mu (200 hectares) orchard in the village, started planting olecranon peaches across 200 mu in 2016. This year is his first harvest year, which is estimated to yield more than 30,000 kilograms. His operation has provided employment for more than 20 villagers in his neighborhood.
