‘Cantonese cuisine chefs’ project injects momentum into rural revitalization

An article on the "Cantonese cuisine chefs" project started in Conghua district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, published on Xinhua News app attracted 871,000 page views in a short time.
The article reported that lots of ambitious chefs from Conghua have been inspired by the Cantonese cuisine chefs project, become devoted to a chef's career, and contributed to local rural tourism and rural revitalization.

The first training studio for Cantonese cuisine chefs in Guangdong was established in Conghua in September 2018. Since then, Conghua has established a number of training bases at the provincial and municipal levels for Cantonese cuisine where non-profit training is provided to enhance the overall quality of Cantonese cuisine chefs in the region.
The Cantonese cuisine chef project has become an important link in Conghua's rural revitalization as well as part of the local tourism industry and a promotion of Cantonese food culture to the public.
