The 1st Guangzhou International (Liuxi) Flower Expo opened in Xihe village in Conghua district on Oct 23. The expo aims to showcase the flourishing floral industry of Conghua and explore the high-quality development of new business modes and patterns of Conghua's floral industry. 

As a rising industry in Conghua of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, the district's floral industry is intended to be built into a frontier for the industrialization of R&D achievements, innovation of ecological values, connection between brand operation and supply and demand services, industrial standardization formulation and information, as well as involving all agricultural businesses and farmers to stimulate common prosperity.

The expo adopts an integrated online-offline model and will last until Dec 5.

The offline venue is set at Xihe, with exhibition sections for key flower species, flower arts, novelty species, and extended industry etc. The expo has attracted exhibitors from both domestic and international markets. 

Meanwhile, livestreaming sessions will be held on major livestreaming platforms such as Taobao and Douyin.
