Conghua on Sept 9 kicked off a sub-venue of the second Livestream E-commerce Festival, which has its main venue in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province.

In addition to the traditional consumption industries featured at the previous festival, this year's event attracted multiple enterprises from other fields, such as catering, accommodation, scenic tourism, automobiles and real estate.

In order to support more enterprises to participate in livestreaming e-commerce, Conghua cooperated with Douyin, a short-video platform, to provide extra dataflow support policy and livestreaming guidance to this year's new attendees.

Since tourism is a signature industry in Conghua, the district is rendering more targeted support to tourism-related businesses, such as hotels, hot spring resorts and catering companies, so that they can use livestreaming during the festival. Meanwhile, popular livestreamers have been invited to put on livestreaming sessions in mobile studios in a bid to include more enterprises in Conghua.

Conghua is presenting four categories at this year's festival — agricultural and floral products, cosmetics and daily care, industrial food and local life.

In the food category, Conghua lychees, longans and sweet potatoes are eye-catchers among many other agricultural products. Conghua is striving to give full play to its modern agricultural advantages and become a "vegetable basket" for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

As for its ecological tourism resources, Conghua is using multi-scenario and cross-site livesteaming to present various tourism products to audience across the country.
