Johnson Controls-Hitachi Wanbao Compressor (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. is a large compressor production site jointly established by Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Services (Hong Kong) Limited, Guangzhou Wanbao Group Co., Ltd., and Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Taiwan Co., Ltd. It was started in Conghua in September 2003. The company is engaged in the production, sales, and after-sales service of scroll compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning. It now has more than 1,000 employees and an annual capacity of 1.2 million sets.

The main products include the R22 model, the R410 model, a horizontal model, and models for trains, refrigerators, freezers, and other usages. In 2015, according to the market demand for low-carbon environmental-friendly products, it developed the 150 series high-speed DC inverter controlled scroll compressor, and gradually increased investment in environmentally-friendly, high-speed, inverter controlled, and large-size products.

The company's main customers include well-known Chinese air conditioning enterprises such as Midea, Gree, Hisense, Haier, Chigo and Hitachi Group, as well as Indian, Egyptian, Argentinean and other foreign companies.
