Conghua's development zone wins award for outstanding economic function

Conghua Economic Development Zone won the Annual Outstanding Economic Function Zone award during the 5th Guangdong Investment and Development Forum recently held in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province. 

Over the years, the zone has focused on enhancing project construction and service awareness, innovative service measures and contributed to the high-quality development of economy in Conghua. 

Premium services to boost enterprise development

To provide efficient administrative environment, the zone has been working on improving acceptance and approval mechanism of administrative services, establishing approval mechanisms, and formulating accountability to improve the approval efficiency. Law enforcement system on areas including safety monitoring, urban management and environmental protection has been intensified. The zone also provided help on financing and established a complaint-handling system to better solve problems for the enterprises.

Meanwhile, the zone's administrative service hall provides "nanny-style" services in all areas of project investment from invitation, approval, commencement to production. 

Reinforcing infrastructure to stimulate development vitality

The zone has been vigorously working on improving and supporting service capacity, to provide sufficient guarantee for the completion of projects.

This year, two bus lines connecting the development zone with the subway station were open, which greatly facilitated commuting for workers in the zone.

In terms of support facilities, the upgrading of a primary school and the main body of a community health center finished construction. Other support facilities, including public toilets, road lamps, pocket parks and drainage reconstruction, are in progress.

Efforts are being made to propel infrastructure construction such as breaking through dead-end roads, leveling earthwork, power construction, pipe network detection and repair, and improving commercial and sports facilities.

From January to September in 2021, the total industrial output value of the zone increased by 17.41 percent year-on-year. The industrial added value increased by 13.51 percent year-on-year. The total sales of commodities and the total tax revenue increased by 45.88 percent and 16.3 percent year-on-year respectively.
