A signing ceremony for cooperation education between South China Normal University (SCNU) and Conghua district of Guangzhou was held on Nov 9, marking the official launch of Conghua Experimental Primary School Attached to South China Normal University.

As planned, the school is a public 36-class primary school directly subordinate to the district education bureau. Construction and an acceptance check are scheduled to be completed before the end of June 2022. The school is scheduled to open on Sept 1, 2022.

As a first-class university in China, SCNU will give full play to its advantages in faculty resources and operation experiences to give a boost to the primary school in Conghua. 

This project also reflects Conghua's efforts to develop high-quality basic education in the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).
