Supplemental Announcement on Classification of Areas (No. 15)

To further implement the COVID-19 control and prevention measures in our city, a supplemental announcement is hereby issued based on Announcement No.13.

1. Closed-off management will take effect in whole area of Zhongnan Street in Liwan District (8,300 people in 7 square kilometers), and 37 COVID-19 spots and surrounding areas in the city where all infected people live and work (see Attachment 1 for details). People need to stay at home and shall not go out (see Attachment 2 for management measures).

2. Closed and controlled management will take effect (see Attachment 3 for management measures) in non-closed-off areas in Baihedong Street, Chongkou Street, Hailong Street, Dongjiao Street of Liwan District; Nanzhou Mingyuan on Ruibao Street of Haizhu District; Zhonghai Xiangyuan Community on Shayuan Street of Haizhu District; the East Zone of Jinxiu Peninsula on Luopu Street of Panyu District; as well as the surrounding areas of key places where infected persons have been to. People can only enter but cannot exit, and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

3. Strict health management and closed-loop management of homes and working places will take effect in neighborhoods of Shiweitang Street, Chajiao Street, Dongsha Street, and Huadi Street of Liwan District. People shall not go out unless necessary (see Attachment 4 for management measures).

4. For other areas in the city: in addition to the control and prevention measures stated in the third point of Announcement No.13, people should show their health codes when taking public transportation and entering places like restaurants, entertainment venues, indoor cultural stadiums, various markets and shopping malls.

5. For all areas in the city, measures stated in the first point will take effect immediately if a new positive case is discovered.

Management and control measures in the above areas will be adjusted, downgraded, and removed accordingly based on the risk assessment of COVID-19.

During the period of closed-off management and closed and controlled management, Party committees and governments at all levels shall ensure the supply of materials, health care services, humanistic care, etc., and give full play to the "three-person team" working mechanism to ensure a stable and orderly life for residents.

This announcement shall take effect on the date of issuance.
