The project supports China's aerospace strategy and aims to establish the world's first low-latitude remote sensing constellation. It is set to draw on a leading research team, along with technical support from national and university institutes and the industrial capacity of TyuanSpace.

The partnership follows a model of government-university-enterprise collaboration, focusing on R&D, application scenarios, and industrial cultivation to advance innovation in aerospace information in the Greater Bay Area.

Tianhe has a strong industrial base in aerospace and low-altitude sectors. It is home to companies such as EHang and XPENG AeroHT, as well as specialized "little giant" enterprises, and accounts for over half of Guangzhou's related patents. The district has built an industrial ecosystem that covers eVTOL research and development, drone manufacturing, and operational services.

During the conference, Tianhe also arranged for local companies to exhibit their progress in remote sensing data processing, drone applications, and smart city monitoring. The district is using the event to connect with industry leaders, expand investment channels, and support the growth of its aerospace information cluster.
