The Tianhe branch venue of the 2025 Guangzhou International Food Festival commenced on Nov 21 at the Haoyi Tianhe Comprehensive Service Center in Liede International Neighborhood. 

The event created an immersive "food + sports" experience, with diverse international cuisines promoting the spirit of the Games and supporting Guangzhou's development as an international consumption center.

The event featured five core sections: international food stalls, fun sports challenges, IP photo spots, health forums, and cake DIY workshops. Eleven international food stalls offered specialties like European ham and Southeast Asian light meals, attracting long queues of visitors. A concurrent traditional Chinese medicine consultation area, where professional doctors provided physical assessments and dietary advice, became a popular spot among both local and international attendees.

During the opening ceremony, four culinary professionals from mainland China, Hong Kong, China, Spain, and Portugal shared their experiences operating in Tianhe district and the Liede International Neighborhood, fostering exchange and cooperation between the Chinese and international food industries. Performances highlighted the innovative blend of Chinese and Western elements while showcasing Guangzhou's open and inclusive nature.

The successful launch of the branch venue has injected fresh consumer vitality into the district and Guangzhou as a whole. As an important window displaying Guangzhou's international image, Liede International Neighborhood attracted visitors of all ages, gaining new development opportunities. It is reported that a series of related events will continue to be rolled out.
