Guangdong team claims victory in mixed relay
On the evening of Nov 15, the 4×400m mixed relay final was held at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center in Tianhe district, Guangzhou.
Representing the Guangdong team, Liang Baotang, Kong Yingying, He Yu, and Mo Jiadie clinched the championship, marking Guangdong's first gold medal in track and field at the 15th National Games. The Sichuan team and Hebei team secured second and third places, respectively.

In the 4×400m mixed relay final, the Guangdong team established an early lead from the start. Liang Baotang, running the first leg, recorded a reaction time of 0.164 seconds, the fastest among all competitors. He then handed off the baton first, and Kong Yingying, on the second leg, further extended the lead.
During the third leg, pressure mounted as opponents closed in, but anchor Mo Jiadie, taking over the baton, surged into sprint mode and crossed the finish line in first place. Ultimately, the team secured victory with a time of 3 minutes and 17.54 seconds.
