XPENG Motors inaugurated its new headquarters, XPENG Technology Park, in Tianhe Smart City, Guangzhou, on Nov 2. The facility, capable of housing about 13,000 employees, will serve as the company's global research and development hub.

This marks XPENG's third major expansion in Tianhe district. Tianhe Smart City is now home to 59 companies specializing in intelligent and connected vehicles, generating 42.1 billion yuan ($5.91 billion) in revenue from January to September 2025, marking a 110 percent year-on-year growth. The new headquarters aims to strengthen supply chain collaboration and attract additional industry partners.

Tianhe is developing a 100-billion-yuan ($14.05 billion) industrial cluster for the intelligent and new energy vehicle industry, with local authorities boosting support through better infrastructure and industrial ecosystems.
