Guangdong women's diving team claims 5th National Games title
The Guangdong women's diving team won its fifth National Games team title on Nov 2, with a total of 2,369.8 points at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center in Tianhe.
The gold medal-winning team included eight divers, including Olympic champions Chen Yiwen and Quan Hongchan, along with world champion Xie Peiling, who claimed her first National Games gold.

The team's overall victory was determined by the combined scores from four events. Guangdong excelled in all categories: Chen Yiwen and Lin Shan secured gold in the synchronized 3m springboard, while Wang Weiying and Xie Peiling earned gold and bronze, respectively, in the individual 10m platform. Chen and Lin also finished first and second in the individual 3m springboard. Quan Hongchan paired with Wang Weiying to win the synchronized 10m platform event with a total of 235.86 points.
