For a nine-day run, the event strategically aligns with the 136th Canton Fair and the 15th National Games, creating a major culinary destination for international visitors and residents.
This year's Gourmet Week features 138 food stalls, marking a 60 percent increase from last year. The event is divided into seven themed zones, such as Black Pearl Avenue featuring upscale restaurants, Star Avenue spotlighting local innovative cuisines, and an intangible cultural heritage snack street that maintains traditional flavors. Many participating restaurants have also launched exclusive debut dishes crafted specifically for the festival.

In addition to the culinary options, the event includes continuous music performances and cultural activities on several stages at Haixinsha. The festival links with nearby cultural landmarks, providing combined food and tourism experiences. Multilingual volunteers and extensive bilingual signage make the event accessible to international visitors.
Guangzhou Gourmet Week 2025 designates Haixinsha as a key venue to highlight Cantonese culinary culture and boost the city's reputation as a top destination for food and tourism.
