Top market research firm CCID Consulting recently published its report on China's dynamic sub-districts in 2025, highlighting five sub-districts from Tianhe district in Guangzhou among the top 100.

The sub-districts include Shipai, Changxing, Tangxia, Linhe, and Xiancun, with Shipai ranking the highest at 29th place.

Guangdong province dominated the top 500 list, claiming the first seven positions and including 135 sub-districts, which make up over a quarter of the total. Remarkably, 55 of these sub-districts ranked within the top 100.

Guangzhou alone had 10 sub-districts in the top 100 and 48 in the top 500.

This study analyzed civil affairs statistics from the second quarter, as released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It assessed more than 8,000 sub-districts nationwide, excluding municipalities, as well as regions like Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
