Tianhe hosts test match for National Games
June 1 saw the grand unveiling of renovated swimming and diving halls at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, hosting the 15th National Games' water polo test match and the 19th Youth Games Water Polo Competition in Guangzhou.
A total of 204 athletes from six districts, including Yuexiu, Liwan, Haizhu, Huadu, Huangpu, and Zengcheng, battled it out in the waters, demonstrating their competitive spirit and excellent athletic prowess in the pool.

Following the renovation, the swimming and diving halls at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center now feature an intelligent lighting control system, enabling accurate dimming in various sections to provide athletes with optimal visual conditions during both competitions and training sessions.
Additionally, enhancements were made to the pool's water quality treatment system, including installing a state-of-the-art intelligent water quality monitoring device and integrating advanced water treatment equipment.
