Overseas media visit Tianhe Sports Center
Commencing on May 27, the "Overseas Chinese Media Observes Guangdong's High-Quality Development" event saw the participation of over 30 senior journalists and editors from almost 20 countries and regions, who visited cities such as Guangzhou, Yangjiang, and Zhuhai.
On the same day, the team visited the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou for a tour and interviews with officials from the Guangzhou organizing committee of the 15th National Games.
Upon entering the sports center, many reporters commented on the track's freshness and vibrant colors. Some were eager to step onto the track and "experience" it, while others gestured towards the high-rise buildings surrounding them, noting that exercising here offered a chance to appreciate the urban scenery.

"The newly upgraded 1,000-meter outdoor track has received a four-star certification from the Chinese Athletics Association," said an employee of the sports center, adding that it's an excellent place to run.
A journalist from Portugal's Jornal PuXin remarked that athletes can also watch competitions here. "I’m looking forward to coming to the Tianhe Sports Center during the 15th National Games to watch the races, experience the venue's advanced and comfortable facilities, and cheer on the athletes!"
"In 1987, the Tianhe Sports Center was built as the main venue for the 6th National Games, witnessing the development of Tianhe district and all of Guangzhou over the past 36 years. It carries the memories of Guangzhou residents," said Zhu Xiaoyi, deputy director and deputy secretary-general of the Guangzhou organizing committee of the 15th National Games and deputy secretary-general of the Guangzhou municipal government, while introducing the venue to reporters on-site.
Additionally, Zhu mentioned that the Tianhe Sports Center will be hosting some sports competitions as part of the 15th National Games, which will be jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in November.
