The signing ceremony for the cooperation between Tianhe district and leading electric vehicle maker NIO recently took place in the Zhujiang New Town.

The collaboration seeks to advance the development of the new energy vehicle industry in Tianhe, enhance regional innovation, provide environmentally friendly travel options for consumers, and facilitate the expansion of NIO's business and brand presence in the district.

The relevant person in charge of NIO Guangzhou stated that Tianhe, as the core area of Guangzhou, possesses strong consumer potential and market vitality. NIO seeks to enhance consumer engagement and expand its market share by establishing additional sales points within the district.

Over the past few years, NIO has expanded its footprint in Tianhe by opening multiple centers to showcase and sell vehicles. Furthermore, various NIO spaces have been introduced in key commercial zones and shopping centers, allowing consumers to learn about NIO's products and technology firsthand.

As of April 9, NIO has built 10 battery swapping stations and 15 charging stations with 88 charging piles, and it has connected 5,168 third-party charging piles in Tianhe.
