Tianhe welcomes Macao think tank's office opening

The unveiling of the Macao Doctoral Think Tank's Guangzhou Liaison Office at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Tianhe district marks a recent development.

Both parties are set to collaborate deeply in fields like technological innovation, outcome transformation, and talent development. This partnership aims to advance the connectivity of innovation resources within the Greater Bay Area, offer a superior entrepreneurial platform for youth from Hong Kong and Macao, and drive forward regional coordinated growth.

During his speech, Tang Wai Keong, chairman of the Macao Doctoral Think Tank, stated, "Our organization has been instrumental in offering talent services from Macao to different provinces and cities. We aim to sustain and enhance these exchanges by harnessing the resources of Macao and Guangzhou".

As an academic think tank based in Macao, the Doctoral Think Tank boasts over 150 doctoral members spanning more than 40 disciplines. Their unwavering dedication lies in nurturing elite talents and promoting international collaborations.

Chen Shan, president of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base's operating agency, highlighted that the base is addressing the developmental requirements of young talents from Macao on various fronts, including residential amenities, workspace provisions, mentorship from individuals in Hong Kong and Macao, and facilitating connections with industry resources upstream and downstream.

To date, the base has facilitated the entry of 456 young talents from Hong Kong and Macao to embark on their entrepreneurial endeavors.
