In 2020, NetEase, in collaboration with several clubs, established the Identity V Professional League (IVL) and established the league base in Tianhe district. The base has evolved into a hub covering team bases, event production, and live-streaming management throughout the industry chain.
The establishment of IVL marks a major advancement in Tianhe's e-sports sector. It not only introduces top-tier e-sports competitions to the area but also draws in more skilled e-sports experts and businesses, catalyzing the concentrated growth of the e-sports industry within the district.
