The South China Agricultural University in Tianhe district hosted a really lively Spring Festival celebration on Jan 22 for on-campus students.

From a garden party to dumpling making, they all had a blast. Master's degree student Matsouele Nzonzi Destin from Congo tried making dumplings for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

"I've been in China for six years and this is the first time I made dumplings," he said.

"Although it was challenging at the beginning, with the help of my teacher and classmates, I made my own dumplings. It feels amazing,"  Destin added.

The university will keep the festive vibe going with events like a reunion dinner, movie nights, and traditional cultural exhibitions.
