Tianhe moves to enhance government services
A "Cloud Windows" service point has recently been introduced to the Guangzhou International Financial City, located in Tianhe district.
It's extending government services to the doorsteps of citizens and the offices of businesses through advanced digital means.
Staff members have been assigned to the "Cloud Windows" service platform to provide one-on-one or many-on-one guidance services for businesses through real-time video calls and online text communications.
Currently, a total of 2,211 government affairs can be handled on the service platform. With 210 staff in place, the services encompass high-frequency government affairs – including social insurance, engineering construction, business registrations and property registrations.
Eight "Cloud Windows" service points have been set up across Tianhe, including the ones at the Tianhe Government Affairs Center and the TIT Creative Industry Zone.
In addition to the "Cloud Windows" initiative, the district has also installed 49 integrated self-service platforms for government affairs. They're offering help for 4,324 items – covering areas such as business registrations, social insurance, medical insurance, civil affairs and disability services.
