The signing ceremony for the new Greater Bay Area project for Singapore private healthcare company Luye Medical Group took place on Nov 21 in the Guangzhou International Financial City – located in Tianhe district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province.

Under the agreement, the group will set up a company headquarters in Tianhe. Furthermore, the district and the company will bolster their cooperation in the transformation of sci-tech achievements – and jointly promote the innovative development and industrial agglomeration of the life and health industry in the area.

"In recent years, AI technology has flourished, injecting unprecedented growth drivers into the mental health industry," said Liu Aona, executive chairman of the Luye Medical Group.

"Luye Medical Group has been exploring a new path of 'AI + rehabilitation'", Liu added. The Luye Medical chief also thanked Tianhe for helping the group connect to AI companies.

Tang Feiquan, assistant to the general manager of the Guangzhou Jinkong Fund, said that as an investor it planned to further explore Luye Medical Group's high-quality medical assets.

It would also link with domestic professional hospitals, AI precision medicine and other resources and application scenarios to further advance the project.
