Enjoy great discounts in Tianhe during Canton Fair
At the 136th Canton Fair – which kicked off in Guangzhou on Oct 15 and runs through to Nov 4 – both domestic and international guests are having a ball.
That's because they can explore Tianhe district of the city – located in South China's Guangdong province – besides attending the fair, with various activities and great discounts on offer.
At the Teemall, exhibitors who spend over 1,200 yuan ($168.77) there can get a free gift by showing valid documents for the Canton Fair.
From now to December, a single order of 200 yuan or more will be discounted by 30 yuan if they pay for stuff with a 62-start UnionPay card issued overseas and bound to the Cloud Flash payment app.
Until Nov 14, the first 300 visitors to PO Park with valid documents or tickets for the Canton Fair can get a free movie ticket and the next 700 visitors can get a 20 yuan voucher for Yaekatsu Restaurant. If they're spending 599 yuan or more on non-dining products, the first 100 visitors can get a 100 yuan voucher for Yue Ji Restaurant.
At the International Grand City or IGC until Nov 15, the fair's participants can receive a 150 yuan coupon after registering for IGC's membership.
What's more, free buses are also being offered for guests staying at the Conrad Hotel to the fair site.
Visitors with valid documents for the Canton Fair can enjoy tax refund services, a 15 percent discount for store goods, a 2 percent discount for electronics and 10 yuan off their bill for a spending over 100 yuan in the supermarket at the Grandbuy Zhongyi Department Store.
Shopping guides specializing in foreign languages are available at the Buynow shopping mall for Canton Fair exhibitors or buyers.
Adding to all the fun, the Junji Ito pop-up event will run at the Grandview Mall from Oct 25 to Nov 24, featuring famous characters like Tomie, Souichi and others.
