A slo-pitch softball competition was recently held at the Tianhe Sports Center, as part of a series of activities marking this year's National Fitness Day, which fell on Aug 8.

Slo-pitch softball simplifies the more difficult pitching sessions in baseball and softball and adopts a high toss system so that participants can participate in the game after just two to three months of training.

A total of six teams consisting of 150 players in total took part in the competition.
