South China Agricultural Museum opens to public

The South China Agricultural Museum, which is located at the South China Agricultural University in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, recently opened to the public.

Established in November 2019, the museum is the first museum in South China to focus on the agricultural industry and natural resources. It has an exhibition area of some 3,200 square meters and eight exhibition halls for Guangdong's agricultural history, traditional agricultural tools, soil and rocks, plants, animals, insects, marine life in South China Sea, and forestry resources and utilization, respectively.

By the end of September, the number of exhibits and collections in the museum stood at 15,098.
