Tianhe to boost business ecosystem
The city of Guangzhou - capital of South China's Guangdong province - is supporting its Tianhe district to take the lead in improving its business environment.
That's so the Tianhe becomes a highland for Guangzhou's business environment reforms, according to the city's recent action plan.
As a result, Tianhe will build itself into a national digital services export base, boost the growth of digital trading enterprises and promote the cross-border circulation of data.
The Guangdong Digital Finance Innovation Industrial Park in the district will be built into a demonstration zone for financial technology and will support the construction of a supercomputer financial big data platform.
Plans are for Tianhe to attract digital financial institutions, digital industrial institutions and financial technology institutions - and guide the efficient allocation of capital, information, digital and other elements.
Tianhe district is dynamic and growing. It opened 53,000 new enterprises from January to June, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 46.2 percent - and accounting for 28.9 percent of Guangzhou's total. It also attracted 86 newly registered projects. [Photo/thnet.gov.cn]
Tianhe will also improve a multi-level financing service system of "credit + finance + innovation". It will issue special products for enterprises in industrial parks and help small and medium-sized enterprises solve their financing difficulties.
The construction of a national-level intelligent demonstration business circle will be further promoted on Tianhe Road - developing a number of smart facilities, smart services and smart stores, which will help build the Tianhe Road-Zhujiang New Town business circle into an international one.
In addition, governmental affairs service platforms in Tianhe will be improved to create an integrated online and offline service system, which will be able to provide enterprises with intelligent, personalized and accurate services.
Known as the "No 1 business circle in South China", the Tianhe Road Business Circle contributes a great deal to Tianhe's growth in consumption. The district realized 108.54 billion yuan ($14.88 billion) in total retail sales of consumer goods in the first half of this year, an increase of 6.8 percent. [Photo/thnet.gov.cn]
