A total of 100 plant science paintings and 20 plant herbarium specimens from the South China National Botanical Garden are being exhibited at the Guangzhou Library in Tianhe district through Aug 28.

The exhibits introduce the definition, characteristics, common tools and making steps of a Chinese plant science painting. They also tell the stories behind the specimen collection.
