Application for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator Base

Eligible Applicants

1. Innovation and entrepreneurship teams or individuals without business registration;

2. Small and micro-sized enterprises registered within the last three years in Guangdong province;

3. Other eligible enterprises

Requirements

Applicants should have strong market prospects, conform to the requirements of technical and business model innovation, and create a certain number of jobs. They should operate in accordance with laws and regulations, and must not have intellectual property disputes, debt disputes or illegal records.

Teams or individuals should promise to complete business registration within one year after setting up operations in the incubator base, and those enterprises registered in places outside Tianhe should change their business registration within three months of setting up operations.

Key projects to be introduced

The incubator base will prioritize the introduction of innovation and entrepreneurship projects by young people from Hong Kong and Macao.

Specifically, those aged 18 to 45 who are Hong Kong and Macao residents, or non-residents of Hong Kong and Macao that have worked in either of the two places for more than one year or have studied in universities in the two places will be prioritized.

Projects should meet one of the following conditions:

1. Over 30 percent of young people from Hong Kong and Macao;

2. Hong Kong and Macao young people or Hong Kong and Macao funded enterprises hold more than 25 percent of the shares;

3. Young people from Hong Kong and Macao act as the legal representative of the enterprise or manager, deputy manager, chief financial officer, chief technical officer, chief product officer or senior management of the same level in the company (excluding its subsidiaries). 

Favorable policies

Start-up projects will be exempt from rent for a maximum period of three years. For projects that set up operations in the maker space (non-independent office zone), their incubation period shall not exceed one year.

The materials should be summited in PDF format, and the registered enterprises should stamp the official seal. They should be packed and compressed, and named in the "project entry declaration + enterprise (team) name" format.
