In the view of Gao Desheng, a professor at East China Normal University, students should be taught to be grateful in a quiet way, that is to say, in their daily life. They should learn to see things from the perspective of parents and teachers, learn to appreciate the care of others, and learn to care for their parents and teachers in any way they can.
In addition, eight class meetings were also carried out to teach students how to communicate with parents, control their emotions, manage time, and achieve goals through self-discipline.
