The two digital government innovative applications displayed by Tianhe district at the 16th China E-governance Forum and 1st Digital Government Summit, which took place from Nov 26 to 27, attracted the attention of many visitors.

The two innovative applications are the digital and intelligent government affairs consulting service platform and the command and dispatch platform integrating UAV and AR.

The intelligent consulting service platform, the first of its kind in the country, integrates more than 80 government service systems of 40 bureaus in the district.

The platform will send an automated message to those who call the Tianhe governmental hotline for consultation. Individuals can make appointments, apply online, check the progress of their application, or evaluate the services through the message, with no need to download any applications or follow a WeChat public account.

"It's such a powerful platform that can provide one-stop services through a single message," said a graduate surnamed He who is preparing to start a business in Tianhe. It will only take half a work day for He to receive his business license after preparing all the application materials with the help of the platform.

The command and dispatch platform combines UAV with technologies like AR, big data and 5G to set up UAV remote survey scenes. Through video analysis and detection of abnormalities in systems such as water control, the platform can assist with urban management and inspection.
