The Guangzhou operation center for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area "vegetable basket" products' Shaoguan distribution center opened on Nov 15, with the opening ceremony held on the same day in Tianhe district.

The Guangzhou operation center was jointly built by Guangzhou and Shaoguan to speed up the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones and promote the implementation of a rural revitalization strategy. It will also greatly benefit Shaoguan's efforts to transform its agricultural industry.

The Shaoguan distribution center of the Greater Bay Area "vegetable basket" products will comprehensively expand the export of agricultural products centered on the Guangzhou operation center, said the person in charge of the Shaoguan distribution center.

Qujiang district in Shaoguan is rich in agricultural resources and abundant in featured high-quality agricultural products, and is an important production area of grain, vegetables, edible fungi, fruits, livestock and poultry in Guangdong province.

According to the relevant person in charge in Qujiang, the district will also take the opening of the Guangzhou operation center as an opportunity to further develop new products, build new brands, and promote the export of more high-quality agricultural products.
