In 2020, Tianhe district built its first group of international communities in Guangzhou and set up one-stop service centers in communities with high proportions of foreigners.

In a move to further open up talent services in Tianhe and optimize the working environment for overseas talent, Tianhe district set up three windows specializing in foreigner work permits at Tianhe Talent Port, Huijing international community and Guangyue international community, respectively. The three windows were put into trial operation on Oct 18, 2021.
