I heard that Guangzhou is a food paradise and I am planning to visit soon. So, what are Guangzhou's latest travel policies?
You may search for the State Council or scan its QR code on WeChat to access the platform. Next, click on "Local COVID-19 Policies," and choose "Guangzhou" to learn more about relevant travel information.
Alternatively, you may go to the official website of the People's Government of Guangdong Province and learn about the latest travel policies issued by the Guangzhou COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarters in the COVID-19 measures section.
According to the announcement made by the Guangzhou COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarters on Oct 22, passengers from high-risk areas shall go through a 14-day centralized quarantine upon arrival. Those from medium-risk areas shall undergo a 14-day home quarantine.
For districts (prefecture-level cities) with reported local cases, but have not been identified as medium- or high-risk areas, and if the source of infection remains unclear or community transmission exists, such areas shall be deemed as medium-risk areas according to management.
Passengers from prefecture-level cities (or districts of municipalities directly under the jurisdiction of the central government) with reported local cases shall take two COVID tests within three days and conduct self-health monitoring at home for 14 days.
Passengers from provinces with reported cases must possess a valid negative PCR test certificate taken within 48 hours before arrival, take another test at the airport, train station, or nearby testing site upon arrival in Guangzhou, and conduct self-health monitoring for 14 days.
Passengers from other provinces are also recommended to take a COVID test upon arrival in Guangzhou.

Areas with no reported cases, but having patients infected with COVID-19 who reportedly visited the area, may also be included in the restriction lists.
