Guangzhou’s Tianhe district is attaching greater importance to Party building that injects impetus into the high-quality development of Tianhe’s Central Business District (CBD).

The joint Party committee of Tianhe CBD’s southern part plays an active role in guiding the area’s development and serving people working in the CBD’s buildings.

Organizing vaccinations for CBD office staff is one of the best examples of the significant role that the Party committee plays.

Since mid-April, the joint Party committee has worked with the buildings’ property management companies to set up temporary vaccination points in several places, including Guangzhou International Finance Centre (IFC), R&F Center and Guangzhou Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre. The aim is to provide services for office staff and residents in the area.

In addition, a "law classroom" offering public consultation services opened at Guangzhou IFC before the May Day holiday, co-hosted by the joint Party committee and the Party committee of Guangzhou Jinpeng Law Firm.

Lawyers, notaries, arbitrators and referees were invited to the building to provide high-quality and efficient legal services. So far, they have solved more than 120 legal issues in total for the enterprises.  

Under the leadership of the joint Party committee, economic development in the southern district of Tianhe CBD has achieved prominent results.

There are 23 commercial buildings in the area with annual tax payments exceeding 100 million yuan ($15.46 million), and the annual tax amount of the two main towers is over 1 billion yuan.

As Tianhe’s magnetic field attracts investment, the building economy has become a powerful engine driving the high-quality development of the district.
