GUANGZHOU - Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, is expected to see its GPD exceed 3 trillion yuan ($422 billion) in 2023, local authorities said Monday.
China is betting on a slew of incentives to help build Nansha district in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, into a strategic hub for technological innovation and advanced industries, making it an attractive destination for international talent and investments, analysts said.
At the beginning of 2024, Guangzhou's major development platforms showed vibrant vitality. In Nansha, over 1,000 talent apartments have opened for application, propelling the five-year talent growth rate to exceed 100 percent.
