HSBC Group's first global training center project, located in Nansha district, is entering its final phase of internal decoration and is set to open soon for official use. The center is expected to train approximately 14,000 HSBC Asia-Pacific employees and global senior management annually.

Additionally, it will serve as a platform for HSBC Group to expand cooperation, share financial knowledge and skills in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, supporting various exchange and collaboration activities with clients and partners, thereby enhancing talent support in Guangzhou, optimizing the business environment, and boosting global competitiveness for high-quality development.

An HSBC Group representative highlighted the Bay Area as a key focus for business expansion and strategic investment. Guangzhou is the core engine of the Bay Area and a pivotal location for HSBC Group's business expansion in the region.

HSBC Group's decision to establish its first global training center in Nansha reflects Guangzhou's strategic role as China's "Southern Gateway". The city's well-developed transportation network, top-tier educational, medical, and cultural resources, and professional, efficient government services make it an ideal location for this landmark project.

"We believe that setting up HSBC Group's global training center in Nansha will facilitate the gathering of HSBC Group employees and executives, providing a high-quality learning and exchange space for HSBC Group and its partners to inspire thinking, broaden perspectives, and seize opportunities in the Chinese market," stated an HSBC Group representative.
