At the beginning of 2024, Guangzhou's major development platforms showed vibrant vitality. In Nansha, over 1,000 talent apartments have opened for application, propelling the five-year talent growth rate to exceed 100 percent.

The Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone has become the province's only "National Class A" bonded zone. In Huangpu, the Guangzhou Development District leads the nation regarding foreign capital utilization and the number of listed companies, among other key economic indicators.

Simultaneously, the construction of significant projects in Guangzhou is in full swing. The Guangzhou Disruptive Technological Innovation Center has commenced operations, and GAC Group is accelerating the construction of crucial component projects such as the GAC AION's Yinpai Intelligent Battery Eco-factory. Baiyun Station has smoothly started operations, and the first train of the Metro Line 11 (City Circle Line) has been stationed at Chisha Vehicle Depot.

With the continuous enhancement of industrial capacity, the pace of development and opening-up in Nansha has accelerated. Led by the "Innovation Bay" initiative, Nansha has established 13 Hong Kong and Macao youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases, attracting many young talents from Hong Kong and Macao to pursue their dreams here. Moreover, Nansha has taken strides towards global engagement, hosting several high-end international conferences and attracting investment projects from Global Fortune 500 companies.

Guangzhou's infrastructure projects are also vigorously advancing the "integration of four networks." As the first circular metro line in Guangzhou, Metro Line 11 connects multiple districts, alleviating traffic pressure in the city center. 

Looking ahead, Guangzhou will continue to enhance the capacity of significant platforms, accelerate the construction and commissioning of major projects, and actively prepare and plan for future development, providing solid support for achieving high-quality development.
