On March 1, the Guangzhou Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Regulations were implemented. These are the first of their kind in the country and were made to protect the environment for youth innovation and entrepreneurship through local legislation.

The regulations support youth innovation and entrepreneurship by promoting more effective coordination, providing more financial support, improving the ecological environment, and providing more accurate and comprehensive services for the youth in the city.

Currently, Guangzhou is laying a solid foundation for youth development and is giving young people more opportunities to participate in urban development.

Young people are the driving force for innovation and entrepreneurship, so Guangzhou is continuously prioritizing youth development.

The regulations contain 27 articles, and focus on youth, stimulating innovation, encouraging entrepreneurship, and solving difficulties encountered by young people during innovation and entrepreneurship processes. 

The regulations create an open and inclusive institutional environment for innovative and entrepreneurial youth. This is a major breakthrough in the local exploration of special legislation that targets the youth.
