From March 9 to 10, the 8th China Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference and the first Global Unicorn CEO Forum overseas sessions were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and Minsk, Belarus.
On March 9, Tashkent time, participants of the Uzbekistan Session discussed high-quality Central Asian green agricultural products imports and the promotion of cross-border e-commerce cooperation between Guangzhou and Uzbekistan.
At present, the Uzbekistan government is committed to expanding e-commerce cooperation with China through the internet and other platforms.
Uzbekistan's previous exports to China are mainly textile products, natural gas, non-ferrous metals, and food. Officials from Uzbekistan intend to work with Guangzhou in the future on deep processing, planting, storage, packaging, and logistics technologies for agricultural products.
In 2021, the total value of imports and exports from Guangzhou to Uzbekistan increased by 17.58 percent year on year.
The Uzbekistan Consulate General in Guangzhou will open an exhibition and sales center for high-quality green products from Uzbekistan, supplying Guangzhou residents with Uzbek fruits, nuts, honey, dairy products, and other specialty items.

On March 10, Minsk time, Guangzhou enterprises signed four memorandums of strategic cooperation with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other organizations in three fields, including carbon control, biomedicine, and high-quality food.
Belarusian officials hope that the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, education, and culture, and promote more exemplary cooperative investment projects such as the China-Belarus Industrial Park.
Minsk and Guangzhou established a friendly city relationship in September 2021.
In 2021, the total value of imports and exports from Guangzhou to Belarus increased by 52.59 percent year on year.
