The 129th session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will be held online between April 15 and 24, according to the organizer.
Held twice a year in Guangzhou and known as a barometer of China's foreign trade, the 10-day trade event will feature some 50 virtual exhibition zones with 16 major product categories.
Live-streaming services will be provided, as they have been at the last two sessions of the Canton Fair, through which exhibitors can display their products via pictures and videos and interact with buyers from across the world.
Enterprises attending the fair and cross-border e-commerce platforms will get fee exemptions from taking part in fair-related activities, according to organizing officials, as a way to help entities tide over difficulties caused by the pandemic.
