An association of companies managing the foreign trade comprehensive service supply chain was set up in Guangzhou on Aug 7, gathering more than 40 representatives from local companies, relevant government departments, and business associations.

The association was jointly launched by 19 companies like Guangdong Silique International Group Co Ltd, Anhuai Group, and Gosh Group.

Lu Chaoying, chairman of the Guangdong Foreign Economic Trade Enterprises Association, noted that the association will establish a platform for cooperation and communication for companies managing the foreign trade comprehensive service supply chain, as well as guide the sound development of relevant companies.

A roundtable forum was held on the same day, focusing on the new business forms in Guangdong's foreign trade comprehensive service supply chain industry to boost transformation and upgrading in Guangdong's foreign trade.
