The latest and most innovative toys will be thrust into the spotlight at the 121st China Import and Export Fair which got underway on April 23.
The biannual trade event, also known as the Canton Fair, is divided into three phases, with its second phase focusing on consumer goods, gifts and home decoration.
Chinese toy exports have grown rapidly in recent years, the value of the industry rising by 17.42 percent in 2016.

The 121st spring Canton Fair comes closely after the Guangzhou International Toy & Hobby Fair held from April 8 to 10 at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo, which emphasized innovative and high-tech toys.
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and associated products have been a particular area of growth in recent years.
Toy merchandising linked to blockbuster movies has also ballooned, helping boost the sector, with franchises such as "Star Wars" bringing in large numbers of buyers.
Covering a total exhibition area of 1.18 million square meters, the fair is expected to attract around 7,300 exhibitors and will host 21 meetings and seminars, with topics centering creation and designs.
