Leading enterprise establishes intelligent factory in Nansha

The Nansha Good Year Industrial Park, with a total construction area of 40,000 square meters, commenced construction in Guangzhou's Nansha district on Jan 16.

Owned by Good Year Holding Group — a national high-tech enterprise specializing in high-performance composite materials and intelligent decorative surfaces — the park will expand the company's production lines from Shenzhen to Guangzhou.

The project focuses on technological innovation, seeking to replace steel with plastic and integrate molding processes. It has already partnered with leading companies such as Midea, with production lines expected to begin mass production by the end of January. The park aims to build an automated and intelligent workshop, which is scheduled to be operational within one year.

According to Chen Lihua, general manager of Good Year, Nansha's strategic location and policy advantages provide strong support for industrial chain development. The company will also establish a research and development center in Nansha, collaborating with universities and institutions to promote industry-academia integration and accelerate technological commercialization.

Over the next three to five years, Good Year aims to achieve rapid revenue growth in Nansha, strengthen its innovation capabilities, and become a leading enterprise in the high-performance materials sector, while also creating more local employment opportunities.
