Nansha district in Guangzhou has launched a series of supportive policies covering the entire cycle from job interviews, internships and employment to entrepreneurship, aiming to build a more talent-friendly city.

College graduates can receive travel subsidies for interviews, enjoy free short-term accommodation, and get up to three months of free housing during internships.

Upon employment, those with bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees are eligible for monthly living allowances ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 yuan ($143.5-574) for 30 consecutive months, with a maximum subsidy of 120,000 yuan. A multi-level housing system and improved public services in education and healthcare further enhance their quality of life.

For innovation and entrepreneurship, Nansha has established international communities, incubating over 150 projects around institutions like the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and providing venture capital support.

The district also recognizes 146 overseas professional qualifications, facilitating cross-border practice. So far, more than 9,500 talent subsidies have been distributed, totaling 44.51 million yuan.

With the goal of attracting 50,000 university students within three years, Nansha is committed to creating a vibrant, future-oriented city where young talents can thrive without all the usual worries.
