Guangzhou's Nansha district has opened an "Eco-Agricultural Experience Zone" along the waterfront of the Nansha Biotech Valley, offering a green retreat for local workers and residents. Located south of Hengli First Vertical Road, the area faces the Hongqili Waterway and provides sweeping river views within a rich natural setting.

As part of a broader landscape enhancement initiative, the zone aims to support Nansha Biotech Valley – a key life and health industry cluster that has attracted multiple leading enterprises and thousands of professionals. By transforming previously idle green space into interactive farmland, the project reflects the district's push toward integrated industrial and urban development.

The newly opened section features a "1-meter vegetable garden" for shared planting, seasonal fruit and vegetable picking areas, and a themed farmer's market, allowing visitors to engage in hands-on agricultural activities and community exchanges.

Future plans include expanding the waterfront corridor with additions such as a pet-friendly park, a children's playground, camping sites, observation decks, and a vibrant market space. These upgrades are designed to make the area more appealing to talent and industry while supporting high-quality growth in Nansha's life sciences sector.

Through projects like this, Nansha continues to advance its "industry-city integration" strategy, enhancing both livability and economic vitality along its waterfront spaces.
